I'm Fred Spaven, an engineer with a passion for all things automotive, from the original vintage and veteran vehicles of the early 20th century right through to the exciting new electric technologies of today.​ Alongside our petrol powered classic restorations and historic motorsport I have recently been working with University College London to build a real pioneer: in April 2024 the "Charging Bullet" became the first ever electric vehicle to complete the MCC's historic 330 mile Land's End reliability trial, run every year since 1908.​
